About Clement Bryant
Clement Bryant's career began at an early age-kindergarten, to be precise. Since that time, there have been a multitude of admirers and followers of his artistic style as exhibited in the areas of fine art and graphic design.
Part of the onlookers amazement may be attributed to Clement's origins in an environment less than conducive towards nurturing and artistic talent. Ironically, his talent continued to thrive amidst often chaotic early experiences that ran the gamut from rough to refined. At the age of nine, his principal submitted his name to a metropolitan area art contest for the Young and Gifted sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution. Over 2,500 youngsters competed, but only Clement and five others were awarded the opportunity to study and learn about the great masters.
Mr. Bryant won national merit as an artist in high school, which led to a full scholarship to the Rochester Institute of Technology. He earned his Bachelor of Fine and Applied Arts Degree in Environmental/Industrial Design. Since then, Clement has concentrated his career as a graphics/multi-media designer.
Clement has come to realize that his passion and commitment to fine art cannot be denied. Having a great appreciation for the fine as well as the visual arts, Clement has chosen to blend these two elements of his spirit when he embarked explosively on a series of paintings called Portraits in Sounds. He currently has 4 completed, and plans to create a total of 15.
Because art has always been a central focus of my spirit and passion for life, I have no other choice but to continually pursue, create, evolve, and execute my fine art. The joy, passion, and fulfillment I receive when thinking and executing my artwork, I hope my audience, when viewing, can be fulfilled spiritually as well, Clement states.
Looking forward to expanding his art career, Clement envisions an infinite number of subjects that he wishes to explore individually or as a Series of paintings. His positive philosophy recognizes that even hardships, when coupled with life's lighter moments, expand and enhance the wellspring of his experiences, thus enabling him to tap into and use them as expressions of his art. As his awareness and appreciation for the tapestry of life deepens, so too, we may anticipate witnessing the outward manifestation of his reality in Clement's future flourishing as an artist.
